HOW I GOT HERE
As a creator, I feel very fortunate to have grown up in the melting pot that is New York City, exposing me to endless forms of design. For as long as I can remember, I have been enthralled by subway ads, billboards, menus, and commercials. As I grew older, I realized that these things did not excite people nearly as much as they did me (though this should have been obvious considering my favorite morning television channel was the infomercial channel).
Since then, I have grown into a motivated creator with a love for visual communication design, product design, design thinking, and entrepreneurship. I am fortunate to attend Cornell University with a major in Human Centered Design and a minor in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. After reflecting on the meaningful lessons and skills I have learned during my education, I chose to pursue a thesis titled The Shopping Experience of the Future: Tapping Into Customer Brand Experience In Technology-Enhanced Beauty Retail Environments.
My design work spans a variety; most of it focuses on branding and visual communication design, while I also have experience with CAD modeling, technical drawing, and digital art. I am the co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of an art gallery startup, the creative lead of a hospitality experience brand, and also do freelance work in between. As a creator, I am constantly striving to improve my techniques, expand my skillset, and find new opportunities to grow. All in all, my main career goal is to use design to make a positive and meaningful impact on consumers.
